Valley Pasture Farm

The Valley Pasture Farm is located in Elk Mound and is where you’ll want to spend all of your weekends. With a pick your own pumpkin patch, corn maze, spooky trail, and farm animals, they have something for every member of your family! You can save a dollar on admission by bringing a non-perishable food item for donation to Stepping Stones of Dunn County. Fall fun takes place on weekends through October 26th.

Maple Leaf Orchard

At the Maple Leaf Orchard in Spring Valley, you can pick apples, feast on homemade desserts, enjoy a seasonal hayride, and much more! Be sure to stop in at the shop for fresh produce, honey, and maple syrup as fresh as it comes. The orchard is open 10-5 daily through October 31st.

Kiptynz Pumpkinz

8-year-old Kiptyn just began his second year of selling pumpkins to benefit Menomonie High School Athletics. In 2018 he raised $1000 and hopes to raise more through the 2019 season. When it comes time to carve pumpkins be sure to visit Kiptynz Pumpkinz, they will be at the Cenex Co-op in Menomonie selling pumpkins through October 18th.

MHS Athletics

The Menomonie High School athletic teams have sporting events almost every day of the week. Varsity football games typically take place on Friday nights and are sure to keep you entertained. Keep an eye on the MHS athletics calendar to find out when you can cheer on the Mustangs!

Treats on the trail

The kiddos are going to jump on the chance to dress up and get candy before Halloween. On October 26th, the Dunn County Historical Society is hosting Treats on the Trail. Children 12 and under are welcome, and the cost is $3/child. After walking the Lion’s Club Nature Trail and collecting candy, your child will get to take their own pumpkin home!

Markquart's Jeep Summer Photo Contest

A picture is worth a thousand words…  And yours might be worth $500! Markquart Menomonie is excited to announce the Jeep Summer Photo Contest beginning June 9, 2021 and ending July 9, 2021. Using your camera or phone, snap a creative photo of your Jeep and email it to PhotoContest@markquart.com, then post it on Facebook and tag @MarkquartofMenomonie. In the email, be sure to include your full name, phone number, year & model of your Jeep, and where the photo was taken. Each person is allowed to submit a total of five photos throughout the duration of the contest. Whether you’re going off-roading, camping, chasing the sunset, or whatever else you love to do in summer, we want to see your photos! The last day to submit your entries is July 9th. The Markquart team will select the top 6 photos based on creativity and aesthetics. These 6 images will be posted to Facebook and voted on by the public. Family-Friendly Fall Activities Around Dunn County | Markquart Menomonie

Time to load up the family in your Jeep and head out for some Menomonie area fall fun! There are several local pumpkin patches and apple orchards to help you take in the season. Govin’s Farm Govin’s farm offers fun for all ages. From their 11-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, pumpkin cannon, and more. Thrill-seekers will get their fix at Govin’s Farm Twisted Tales of Horror Haunted Maze taking place every Friday and Saturday evening through October 31 st. This maze takes place in their cornfield, but those who don’t like a scare can take part in their magic show and a scavenger hunt. Markquart Menomonie Breaks Ground for New Building on Oak Avenue

Coming Spring 2021 On Monday, June 15 th, community leaders, Markquart employees, and the Markquart family gathered to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the new Markquart Menomonie Location. We have been operating at our current location on Stout Street since 2018, with limited space and expansion opportunities. The new dealership will be approximately 30,000 square feet, feature a modern design, and offer state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. The new building will be built by Market & Johnson and located on Oak Avenue West near the AmericInn Hotel and Fleet Farm. The construction is expected to take approximately 8 months to complete and be finished in the spring of 2021. Amenities include: 15 service bays Premium waiting rooms that feature a refreshment station, kids play area, TV room, and pod workspaces Carwash for internal use on service customer’s vehicles Over 300 parking spaces New Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, & Fiat Vehicles And More! Special thanks to Donut Sam’s for providing individually wrapped donuts for the ceremony and Vintage Sign Shop for printing our sign on display on Oak Avenue. The Markquart Family is eager to bring the new and improved facilities to Dunn County.
