Happy Fall!

Whether your family fits best in your Chrysler Pacifica or a Jeep Grand Cherokee, load up the and enjoy some local fall fun!

Valley Pasture Farm

The Valley Pasture Farm is located in Elk Mound and is where you’ll want to spend all of your weekends. With a pick your own pumpkin patch, corn maze, spooky trail, and farm animals, they have something for every member of your family! You can save a dollar on admission by bringing a non-perishable food item for donation to Stepping Stones of Dunn County. Fall fun takes place on weekends through October 26th.

Maple Leaf Orchard

At the Maple Leaf Orchard in Spring Valley, you can pick apples, feast on homemade desserts, enjoy a seasonal hayride, and much more! Be sure to stop in at the shop for fresh produce, honey, and maple syrup as fresh as it comes. The orchard is open 10-5 daily through October 31st.

Kiptynz Pumpkinz

8-year-old Kiptyn just began his second year of selling pumpkins to benefit Menomonie High School Athletics. In 2018 he raised $1000 and hopes to raise more through the 2019 season. When it comes time to carve pumpkins be sure to visit Kiptynz Pumpkinz, they will be at the Cenex Co-op in Menomonie selling pumpkins through October 18th.

MHS Athletics

The Menomonie High School athletic teams have sporting events almost every day of the week. Varsity football games typically take place on Friday nights and are sure to keep you entertained. Keep an eye on the MHS athletics calendar to find out when you can cheer on the Mustangs!

Treats on the trail

The kiddos are going to jump on the chance to dress up and get candy before Halloween. On October 26th, the Dunn County Historical Society is hosting Treats on the Trail. Children 12 and under are welcome, and the cost is $3/child. After walking the Lion’s Club Nature Trail and collecting candy, your child will get to take their own pumpkin home!
